How We Style to Suit Different Demographics and Geographical Areas

How We Cater To Different Buyers In Different Suburbs

According to the Queensland Census, the Brisbane Communities’ demographics are usually specific to certain areas. For example, in inner city locations a young professional demographic is most likely to reside of either single people or couples, in units or small apartments. Therefore, we style using contemporary furniture and finishes to appeal to this market. As shown below, this home was styled in West End (4 kms from the city). We used a neutral colour palette, clean lines and minimalistic finishes.

In mid to suburban areas, or areas with larger homes and blocks of land, a family demographic is most likely to live. These homes are styled for maximum functionality, so in turn we use multiple couches and living areas, and often add in kid’s rooms, nurseries, and an office. Shown below is an example of a 5-bedroom home styled in Carseldine, where a family demographic has been kept in mind.

Lastly in quieter suburban areas, where more mature residents would likely reside, we tend to move towards a more classic and muted style. As shown below, this home was styled in Forest Lake, where the stylists focused on soft tones of pinks, greys are blues to appeal to this demographic.

By tailoring our services to a specific demographic, this helps to create a strong connection with the property, and the stronger the connection the more likely to purchase the property at a higher price!
